211 quickly and confidentially connects people to social services and community programs across Ontario. Our helpline is answered by real people 24/7. Service is available in 150+ languages. Text is available Monday to Friday from 7am – 9pm ET. Live chat service is available Monday to Friday from 7am – 9pm ET.

Timmins.CARE is the localized initiative that coordinates service information in the community for general information, whereas the 211 Ontario interactive platform is what connects those in need with service providers. 211 Ontario boasts 365 languages, including Indigenous language services, and 211 operators are trained to recognize what other services the client may need and provide referrals. In short, Timmins.CARE is the community information hub that is powered
by 211 Ontario.
